SECRETARY GENERAL
Mr. S. P. Katnauria has vast experience of working under the Government of India in the Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Department of Commerce) and Ministry of Textiles. He has discharged functions like Administration, Vigilance, Parliamentary, Finance, Legal, Foreign Trade (ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand) and looked after Schemes such as TUFS, Technical Textiles, R&D, Powerloom Development and Skill Development etc. in the Ministry of Textiles, apart from looking after the matters relating to the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Textiles Committee, Central Silk Board, Jute Commissioner’s Office, National Jute Board, Jute Corporation of India, British India Corporation, Cotton Corporation of India, National Institute of Fashion Technology and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management. His last tenure was as Director in the Ministry of Textiles.
He took over as Secretary General of AMFII with effect from 1st January, 2021.
