The Baroda Rayon Corporation Limited (BRCL), a public company, was incorporated in 1958 by Gaekwad Chinai and Company Private Limited as Managing Agents. With the abolition of the Managing Agency system, the subscribers of the Memorandum and Articles of Association were no more connected with the Company and Lt. Col. Fateh Singh Rao Gaekwad (former Maharaja of Baroda State) had taken over the management of the Company with the team of professionals to run the company.

The Company is engaged in textile industry in Surat City of Gujarat, a city basically known worldwide for its Diamond and Textile Business. The Plants & Machineries of the Company are conveniently located at the heart of the City. The Company location offers easy access to the Railway Station, Bus Station, Highway and to Surat’s entry – exit points.
